360 Measurement and Feedback

The Psycon 360 assessment is a development method used for supporting the development of superiors and people in demanding expert positions in their work.

The Psycon 360 assessment is used for collecting structured feedback on the visible managerial and interactive behavior of the person evaluated. Typically, an assessment is requested from four sources (own assessment, superior, subordinates and colleagues).

The received feedback is discussed in an individual feedback discussion together with Psycon’s experienced consultant specialized specifically in 360 assessments. The feedback is associated with the person’s current job description and future goals. In the discussion, clear development goals and the steps leading to them are defined. The 360 assessment of a larger group enables utilizing also the group feedback discussion.

Our approach to 360 measurement

The Psycon 360 assessment is based on the customer’s needs. The alternatives are a standard 360 assessment with related external comparison data or a fully customized 360 assessment, which is based on the values and good managerial practices of the organization.

We recommend that a 360 measurement is always supported with either an individual or a group feedback discussion. Based on our experience, the discussion significantly improves the utilization of the results and commitment to the goals. The 360 measurement and feedback can be used as a separate development method or as part of development programs, coaching or Management Audit. We also recommend that the 360 assessment is repeated at regular intervals because repeating the assessment using the same 360 measurement instrument both motivates the participants to develop themselves and enables the monitoring of development also in the long term.
